Formed in London in 1965, the Small Faces were the quintessential mod band. Though they existed for only four years, their rise to the top was meteoric. Releasing such classics as Tin Soldier, Itchycoo Park, All Or Nothing and Lazy Sunday they quickly evolved into one of the UK’s most successful psychedelic acts.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012, the line-up consisted of Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Jimmy Winston and Kenney Jones. Their debut single What'cha Gonna Do About It came in 1965, their first album; Small Faces, came the following year as did new member Ian McLagan. They reached their career high in 1968 with the release of Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake which hit the top of the UK charts in May and stayed there for an astounding 6 weeks! Steve Marriott left the band at the end of 1968 to form Humble Pie, the remaining band members joining forces with Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart to form The Faces.

Small Faces - Itchycoo Park (Official Lyrics Video)
Released in August 1967, Itchycoo Park reached number 3 in the UK charts, number 16 in America and number 1 in Canada, remains one of the Small Faces’ biggest hits and has become a classic of its time. This fun lyric video captures the psychedelic spirit of the Sixties and is a chance for fans the world over to enjoy this wonderful recording once again.
The song was first conceived and largely written by Ronnie Lane, who had been reading a leaflet on the virtues of Oxford which mentioned its dreaming spires. A number of sources claim the song's name is derived from the nickname of Little Ilford Park, on Church Road in the London suburb of Manor Park, where Small Faces' singer and songwrite...

Past trump time
I don't see a single tattoo, piercings, a roid body, Nike, Vuitton or Gucci, or sluts twerking in the background, or any filthy language. All I see and hear is pure talent that touches the soul...yep Satan actually rules this world.
My hero
Check out the groovy business.
1967 playing pin ball at the slot car track , hanging with dudes just back from 'Nam all older than me a 9 yr old kid . Good lessons .
I wish steve was a better businessman. How ever back then band managers were crooks. It was hard to find honest people. Steve was a friend . Still love the song.
This song takes me back to my high school days, but that’s not all, ¡ I’m dating my sweet heart of those days !!! I have the music but not the lyrics and that’s why I’m here.
I was doing Acid. Rock and Roll Forever.
I thought that was rod Stewart's voice...
According to P P Arnold Rod tried to copy Steve's voice.
I could listen to that phasing for hours. So COOL!
excellent sound, seems the best quality version out there
Immortal music 🙂
"I feel inclined to blow my mind..." Indeed!
Great band the best !
Steve Marriott and the Small Faces were so awesome. Love it!
@CaptainGranja. Yes, so do I. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
At the risk of sounding "uncool", this song is the strongest argument against marijuana use ever made.
You are extremely stupid, that is for sure. This somg is awesome and so is weed. FUCK OFF!
Great song! Great recording! But the lyrics say, "get hung up feed the ducks with a BUM".... The video says BUN. Changes the whole meaning.

❤❤❤❤❤
I was a baby when this came out, I just found out The Bridge of Sighs was a bridge prisoners passed under while on their way to prison. They knew their life was ruined.
Bridge of sighs in Italy 🇮🇹 ??🤔

Glad RUclips has the lyrics to this great song because now I know I was singing quite few of misinterpreted verses...
Fantastic song and video!
their best stand-alone song, they would later front Rod Stewart as "Faces".
It’s Great that the words of the Song are Here.....👍🇬🇧🤓
Forget Mick Jagger , forget Rod Stewart , the only English male singer that came close to Stevie , was Paul Rodgers , but for me , Stevie was the guvnor by a wide margin
Paul Rodgers is better than Steve
Your name shows that you are in a dreamworld @@ziggy7506

Beautiful. Loved this since came out.
Fantastic piece 💛
This was one of the favorite songs of a friend of mine who died last year. Just heard it on Florida Magic Oldies today and it made me think of him. Love the song even if it tears me up these days. It's all too beautiful <3
Brilliant. A true 60s classic. Itchycoo Park simply sums up 1967. No.3 in the UK in September 1967.
Love the small faces, Steve marriott the best.🤩😊😎🤗
It's All Too Beautiful Ha !
An all time favourite of mine, what a fantastic band The Small Faces ❤ were
This site can give some credit to Steve Marriott, it's ok to do that. At least acknowledge his amazing vocals. Like no one else really.
Perfect..
Love his voice ...
Yes, Steve Marriott was the greatest vocalist, to my ears anyway.
It's ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!
Why did i move here
Sencillamente maravilloso tema, por su tiempo y su mensaje en ese momento, y por la banda. En México la radio la trasmitía en los 70's como cualquier canción -sin censura-, gracias al idioma. (escribe Jorge Villa).
It’s all Too BEAUTIFUL
RIP Steve......you were a huge influence
